Antonis Nikitakis is a Machine Learning and Computer Vision expert with over 10 years of experience in R&D, AI-driven products, and deep-tech entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. He has authored 20+ scientific publications in AI, imaging, and data-driven systems.

Emmanouil Chousakos

MD, MPhil PhD, Dermoscopy and Aesthetic Medicine
Emmanouil Chousakos’s expertise lies in skin cancer diagnostics and aesthetic medicine, with a particular focus on the integration, optimisation, and expansion of novel dermatological imaging modalities in these fields. He holds an MD and PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens, as well as an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge
Iraklis Rigakis

Iraklis Rigakis is an Electronics Engineering graduate of the Department of Electronics of ATEI of Crete. He holds an MPhil from London Brunel University and a PhD from the University of West Attica. He has worked at Poseidon Electronics SA as a technical director / quality manager ISO9001 and at DiodeBell SA as an Electronic Engineer where he designed and manufactured electronic devices. Since 2005 he has been teaching at the Department of Electronic Engineering of ATEI Crete and since 2023 at Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU). He has participated in a number of research projects with an emphasis on the field of Embedded Systems, very low power sensors and Internet of Things.

From engineering mission-critical HTTP dispatchers to optimizing macro-benchmark orchestrators, Alexandros leverages an extensive toolkit—centered on Go, Python, and a wide array of data store families—to solve bottlenecks and drive technical excellence.

Vera Alexandropoulou is a lawyer specializing in fund structures, shipping law, energy, and sustainability. She has served as a research associate at Harvard Business School, worked at law firms in New York, London, Athens and at the Piraeus Port Authority, while maintaining her own law office in Piraeus. She is a mentor in business incubators, the Vice President of Thalassa Foundation, a member of WISTA, HELMEPA, AE4RIA, Leading Women for the Ocean, and cooperates with Athena Research and Innovation Center. Vera has served as a member of the Senior Advisory Group at the World Maritime University (IMO) and is currently a member of the Working Group on “Higher education curriculum on Data for Ocean Biodiversity Observing and Capacity-Development”at the World Maritime University (IMO) . To bridge the gap between traditional learning and the skills required for the vessels of the future, Vera co-founded SeaOrama, an immersive, digital, gamified marine and maritime academy.

Symeon Chatzigeorgiou is a finance and strategy professional with extensive experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, and exits. He serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships at DeepSea Technologies, where he led funding rounds totaling over €12M and supported a successful company exit delivering a 5x return to investors. His background also includes senior roles in large-scale infrastructure and financial analysis, supported by formal training in business administration and finance from Athens University of Economics and Business and Queen Mary University of London.
